BATTLE ROYALE FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP OF THE WWR BATTLEGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP
The battle royale is back in 2021 and we have ten women eager and ready to become the new number one contender for the Battleground Championship! Who will get the next shot at the champ? We will know when we see the last woman standing in this chaotic opener at New Year's Revolution 2!
WWR BATTLEGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
On Friday night, Daria Dorsey proved that she can retain the Battleground Championship on her own without Jessica Jackson or another member of the Queen's Court at ringside. But will see go at it alone as she defends the Battleground Championship against the unpredictable Anya Lebeaux. Lebeaux has made her feelings for the Court all too clear in recent months. You would have to think that she would love to take championship gold away from that group.
WWR SIX WOMAN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
On Friday night, the Regulators proved their victory over the Beautification Movement back in December on WWR Clash wasn't a fluke as the duo and newcomer Layla Sheridan scored a big win over the Six Woman Tag Team Champions. Now they have earned a title shot against the Movement and with the champions backing up on their high heels they will need to be prepared for a war or their championships could see a movement to a new team, see what I did there?
WWR GODDESS OF THE CAGE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Diamond Caldwell issued a challenge to former two time WWR Battleground Champion, Mayumi Tanahashi over the weekend on social media. Deeming her worthy of a shot at her Goddess of the Cage Championship. Tanahashi accepted and WWR General Manager Leonie Frost was quick to make the match official. This match is something that could steal the show. Be prepared for these two ladies to tear the house down in the cage!
TEN WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH
On Friday night, Bobbi Jackson returned to WWR with other members of the Phoenix Coalition to save her friends Roxi and Keira Johnson from an onslaught by the Queen's Court. Now the newest member of the Court, Charlotte Haliday will team with Jessica Jackson and while the rest of the members of the Queen's Court are busy, the members of Simply Glamorous step in to fill out the team as they look to put down the dream team of Bobbi Jackson, Super Tiger, Keira and Roxi Johnson, and WWR Revolutionary Champion Eliza Frost-Showtime. There's gonna be a lot of star power in this ring. Hopefully the referee will be able to handle it!
WWR WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
The teams of Cassie Mason and Malaya Diyosa and Trixie Decker and Azurine Vebbins have been fighting for a while now. Neither team has been able to get one up on another but have impressed WWR Management and fans everywhere. Now they enter into a triple threat WWR World Tag Team title match against Carmen DeVega and Giselle Anderson. In a match that must have a winner, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this matchup!
GRUDGE MATCH
Susan Rigger and Victoria Salinas have been at each others throats for a while now. But on January 15th the time for talking will be over as these two women meet one on one in a WWR ring for the very first time. How will the former WWR Chaos Champion fare against the former WWR World Champion? You're gonna have to tune in to find out!
MAIN EVENT FOR THE WWR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
In the main event of the evening, Zoe Jane has been on a hot streak pinning both Susan Rigger and Crystal Zdunich in consecutive editions of Battleground to earn herself a WWR World title shot against Dominique Frost. Will Jane's winning streak continue or will the Dominiqtrix stomp out the challenger coming for her throne? This could be a potential match of the year candidate. Be sure to not miss it!
