The opening guitar for “Blow” by Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, and Bruno Mars plays out over the crowd for a few seconds before…
“OHHHHHHHHH!!!”
As the song kicks in, Envy Ellis steps out from the back dressed in her ring gear with a towel draped over her neck. She doesn’t pose or play to the crowd, choosing instead to walk directly towards the ring. As she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she throws the towel off her neck to the floor and slides under the bottom ropes. Moving to the opposite side, she climbs onto the bottom rope and throws her arms out. After repeating this process with the other three sides of the ring, she moves to her corner to await the start of the match.

BIO, PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS, AND ANYTHING ELSE:
Envy Ellis, for all she says she is, isn’t entirely “known”. After spending six months in the fledgling Women’s Wrestling Revolution (or WWR), that fed’s hiatus prior to it’s 10th regular broadcast resulted in her being lost to the wind in a manner of speaking. At the time, Envy reigned as the Goddess of the Cage Champion, a specialty title that was created almost FOR her (company officials would dispute that idea). As the company’s first-ever two-time-first-ever Champion (being the first to reign with their Battleground Championship as well as the aforementioned GOTC title), Envy was seen by many as a future World Champion - it would only have been a matter of time.

STRENGTHS:
- Her brash demeanor isn’t totally off-putting
- When she’s confident, she can be damn-near unstoppable
WEAKNESSES:
- Her brash demeanor doesn’t translate all that well in the ring
- She can get a tad obsessive when she wants something, carrying serious grudges without being able to properly let go
- She tends to put herself and her career interests first, so making friends hasn’t come easy, and making allies even more difficult.
TITLE HISTORY:
WWR Battleground Champion (first ever)
WWR Goddess of the Cage Champion (first ever)
DISTINCTIONS: Winner of the fastest match in WWR history - At Battleground Volume 7: Bow Down, Envy defeated Maria Salvatore by submission in a match that lasted no more than 5 seconds (an official count was never released).
